CERTH JOINS THE FASTER CONSORTIUM

  • News

The FASTER project is pleased to welcome the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) as a new partner in the consortium in the framework of the WIDERA programme.

CERTH is a leading research centre in Greece, at the forefront of basic, applied, and technological research addressing today’s societal challenges. Within CERTH, the ARTEMIS Laboratory brings strong expertise in membrane technologies, catalytic reactor design, as well as process modelling, simulation, optimisation, and assessment.

By joining FASTER, CERTH will contribute to advancing the ammonia value chain through the development and validation of a flexible NH₃ cracking process based on membrane reactor technology. This work will play a key role in improving efficiency and operational flexibility, while complementing and extending the current project activities.

Their involvement represents an important step towards completing the full “power-to-hydrogen-to-ammonia-to-hydrogen” pathway, further strengthening FASTER’s ambition to unlock ammonia’s potential as a sustainable energy carrier.
